Filip Sundberg (from the Swedish band Syket) is a provider of some very nice vibes under the name Tiger Forest Cat. "New York, New York" is a single off his upcoming album Underdogism, a three-year labor of love that has raised the eyebrows and perked the ears of tastemakers across the globe.
Fans of chill, indie rock will enjoy the Northern Sweden-bred sounds. It may have been originated in the Nordic lands, but music like this really transcends geographic connotation. I can imagine listening to "New York, New York" in the Hollywood hills, on an airplane, overseas, or yes, even Times Square. It's sure to calm the nerves wherever one may be found.
