Sydney's Tim Fitz is an artist I've followed for some time (followed is the key word here, given I've seen him perform a lot over the past few years). While his live show has always been a joy in itself, it's been a blast to see him grow as a songwriter, too.
With three independent EPs to his name, he's gearing up again for the release of his fourth, and the first single is taking its bow right here on Indie Shuffle.
"Sour" is pure Fitz -- good hearted, tongue-in-cheek social commentary surrounded by an eclectic, DIY soundscape of controlled anarchy. In a nutshell, it's a bloody good pop song by a bloody excellent musician.
I'm pretty sweet on Tim Fitz (see what I did there?). Keep an eye out for more releases later this year.
