Meet Tom Misch. This 18-year-old singer, songwriter, musician, producer, and all around mavel reigns from London, England, where he is currently working on realeasing a collaboration EP with Carmody.
The closing track on his debut EP, Beat Tape 1, is "You Got Me Flying" -- a horn heavy, jazz-inspired track, one which Misch originally reworked without intentions of release but rather for personal progression.
With an ear for killer samples, Misch has produced "You Got Me Flying" by adding his own soulful vocals to mix and tying it all together with a string of drum beats inspired by J Dilla.
Don't let his age fool you; try and remember that the last time the UK hit us with so much talent at such a young age. (Yes, I'm talking to you two, Guy & Howard Lawrence.)
