Why do we like this?
I have a feeling you're really going to really dig this tune. Tough Uncle is a Melbourne-based rock band with roots in Adelaide, South Australia. From the sound of the absurdly catchy bassline thumping through their new single "Fruit," the band's a confident trio unafraid to borrow what they like from surf rock and disco influences, and turn it into something all their own.
"Fruit" was recorded, engineered and mixed by Foreign/National bassist Sean Gage, per SoundCloud. I really hope Gage and Tough Uncle continue working together because their labor produces some wonderful fruit.
