Like a gleaming coastline, "Patiently" by Trails and Ways reflects and shimmers into my mind and leaves me with sunstroke glee. Does anybody ever reflect on the classic film opening of a bird flying over a shining ocean? That glorious freedom and the sense of calm, joyful adventure? Well, that’s what "Patiently" by Trails and Ways feels like to me. It’s a sunny and breezy track, with fun, seagull-style guitar picks and a beachball drumline keeping it all together. The track speaks to me on a childlike level, but the part of me as a child that was ready for adventure, ready to see the vast world, ready to spread its wings.
