Why do we like this?
Treasure Fleet are creating a whimsical and infectious brand of psych-pop/punk that makes this Indie Shuffler yearn for more. The band calls on stylings of 60's era psychedelia that aren't typically associated with their other gigs (The Lawrence Arms, Smoking Popes, The Arrivals, and Sass Dragons).
Future Ways was originally set to be the band's debut release, however it was shelved for many reasons and awaited its fate collecting dust in the Atlas Studios. After the band went back into the studio in late 2011 to record their "second" album Cocamotion, they decided to wipe away the refuse and finish their debut.
If "Nitsa" is an indicator of this record, then we are surely in for a treat.
