Why do we like this?
I'm really digging this "Afro electronica" from London-based producer Gabriel Benn, aka Tuesday Born. It has percussive beats accompanied to spooky vocals that'll make you perk your ears right up. I also highly recommend checking out the sweet lo-light music video that goes with the track.

Gabriel put this EP together after seven visits to Ghana, harmonizing a connection with the vibrancy that permeates that African capital in the form of memorable beats. It's a wonderful hybrid of African influenced by popular electronic -- or the other way around, depending on how you hear it. This music will kind of remind you of majestic casual, but sets itself apart for having an indelible real-world touch. "Sleep With Stars" is something else. And it's only the first featured release from Gabriel.

The EP is now on Audio Doughnuts, an independent record label "born out of London's colorful musical landscape." You can download it on iTunes, and can follow Tuesday Born on his Facebook page.
