Why do we like this?
"Lavender" is the glorious first taste of Glaswegian producer/songwriter Jon Cooper's soon-to-be-released sophomore EP, Colours.
With hints of Massive Attack and Four Tet throughout, "Lavender" is an exceptional follow-up to Turtle's previous output and sure to keep fans happy.
As the harmonious sounds of an organ open the track, "Lavender" slowly builds, with added percussion, synths, and looped vocals, creating a multi-layered, melodic fusion of experimental electronica.
Colours is set for release early in the new year.
