Melbourne band Twerps has been one of Australia's most talented exports in recent years, with plenty of appreciation for their music coming from abroad (as well as back home, of course). This is set to continue with the four-piece announcing they've signed with the highly regarded US label Merge Records, home to the likes of Arcade Fire and Spoon.
Before the release of their second record next year, the guys shared their latest single "Back To You," the first taste from said album. Upbeat and to-the-point, the band has added to their typically guitar-orientated music with a whirl of keys and some lovable all-in vocal arrangement. It's all over very quickly, but it sure does the trick!
Twerps' second album, Range Anxiety, is due to be released next year in Australia/New Zealand through Chapter Music (January 23), followed by Merge Records (January 27) for the rest of the world.
