Why do we like this?

Who is Un Blonde? An artist that has 12 followers on SoundCloud, is based in Montreal, real name is Jean-Sebastian Aude, and in 2016 was nominated for a Polaris prize.

That said, I have never heard of him. If you are like me, watch this video entitled "Who Is: Un Blonde" and you will also be armed with these facts, as well as a feeling like you've been living under a rock.

It always makes me nervous when journalists talk about new artists like they've been around forever. But to Un Blonde's defense, he has been around for forever – relative to the accumulation of years he's been on this planet – you know, his own forever.

"Nerve For The Ages" feels like an intro or outro. It feels inspired, it feels like, in some weird way (lyrically), it's about people like me (music reviewer) whose job it is to kinda... "judge books by their first pages." Sorry not sorry? Good thing I posted it here because I like it.

Let me get out of the way and let the music speak for itself. Whether you're coming or going, "Nerve For The Ages" is the vibe you'll want to take with you.
