Introducing Vessels, the enigmatic and hypnotic five-piece band from Leeds who, in the last year, has forced the electronic music world to sit up and listen.
While most of their journey so far has been taken on more post-rock foundations, the release of their third album, Dilate, in March 2015 marked a shift into a more electronic sound.
This coming April 1, the band is set to release a special edition of the album, which will feature their latest single "4AM," a swelling ode to that space between a big night out and a day yet to show its face.
Soaring synths in harmonic progression are met with the gentle roll of drums. Another layer is added to this serene landscape as the subtle crash of the cymbals roll in, simultaneously building the momentum of the track whilst maintaining the peace. It's beautiful, it's warm, it's perfect.
