Why do we like this?

Vundabar’s coming album Smell Smoke contains a couple of songs worth reviewing, and obviously a bunch worth listening to. Yet for some reason I chose instead to cover a song that ended up cut from the LP, and posted as a B-side release instead. If “Glass Hand” is any indication of how good the tracks that actually made the album are, fans are in for a wild ride.

"Glass Hand" is brilliant! The riff heavy verses are loudly unapologetic, asking listeners to run, full tilt, toward some end, only to be thwarted by the sudden contrast that is the chorus, forcing us to not only slow down, but to contemplate.

This is a beautifully sculpted composition. The other singles are good as well. I’m expecting the album to blow my doors off.
