Why do we like this?

Releasing a brand new track every month is not an easy feat for a new artist, however as we've seen with the likes of Oh Wonder over the past 18 months, this kind of serialization can prove to be very popular with music fans across the world.

At 19 years of age, American college kid Wade Hampton's debut single "GAMES" is an incredibly strong start to his very own monthly single release plan. Presumably influenced by the likes of Drake and The Weeknd, Hampton's fluid and somewhat sultry R&B makes for an entrancing first listen.

Charming enough to warrant an immediate repeat, "GAMES" is the perfect kind of earworm that still sounds brilliant regardless of how many times you've heard it.

 

 

With a clear knack for creating impeccable new music, I now can't wait to see what Wade Hampton has in store for us next month...
