Wallners

Wallners have returned with their new single, "Movie Stars."  I was excited to see their name pop up after falling in love with their debut single "In My Mind" in 2020. To this day, when that song pops up in my rotation I fall all over again.  "Movie Stars" marks the move towards the band's second album. It's a pretty unique sound, so if it's a sign of things to come, the album is one to watch for. On the inspiration behind the track, the Vienna-based sibling band said: “The stars have always inspired us. There’s something incredibly peaceful about looking up at them, yet they also fill you with a sense of wonder. We’re fascinated by the vastness of the universe and by how absurd life on Earth can sometimes be. By chance, we found some old microphones from the 1960s in our basement while making the song, and somehow that discovery fit the mood of the track perfectly.”
