Washed Out Eyes Be Closed (Lovelock Remix)

I know we post a lot of remixes here on Indie Shuffle. Some of them add fast, jarring beats to electronic tracks -- perfect for waking you up and getting your feet moving. Some remixes just amplify the awesomeness of an original song, keeping most of the sound in tact. Enter Lovelock's remix of Washed Out's "Eyes Be Closed."

I really love this track. Steve Moore, who also goes by Lovelock, originally released it on Domino Radio (you can find the program here). He keeps the synthy feel of the song but strips it down quite a bit -- he doesn't add any overpowering layers. In fact, the remix rich and velvety despite its minimalist sound. I might even prefer it to the original.
