Although Wennink's rather brilliant self-titled debut EP is now 13 months old, it still comes as a surprise to me that the featuring tracks only have a few hundred plays on SoundCloud each. Deserving of so much more, the producer and musician's new single "Dissolve" (his first piece of music in over a year) will hopefully bridge that gap and charm thousands more. Beautifully crafted, "Dissolve" is a six-minute long epic. Its inspiring, musing electronics and lonely vocals equate to a glorious work of musical art. Evolving like a dream, the song's psychedelic warmth and fractured melodies will leave you feeling both peculiarly charmed and uneasy at its atmospheric close.
