UK composer, producer, and songwriter Will Archer has a new moniker. Wilma Archer (formerly Slime) has collaborated with songstress Amber Mark on "Like A Hunger," a shadowy track with a bubbling bass line featuring Mark’s sweet soulful vocals and Archer’s moody production.
The track is the first in a series of collaborative releases planned for 2017 after a couple of years of prolific writing and recording. Archer’s production expertise is undeniable, with layers of instrumentation balanced with Mark’s vocals building to a satisfying crescendo in the chorus.
On collaborating with Mark, Archer says "My instrumental was loosely based on a platonic relationship which had turned sour, inspired by that crude, bold kind of sarcasm that can follow a misunderstanding between people. Thankfully, Amber never heard it that way, and I love the irony of how two entirely opposing sentiments can appear so intentional."
