xxxy drops an exclusive track today via Annie Mac's Free Music Monday's, and yup, you guessed it -- it's free for download.

While that's all pretty exciting, "Taking Me Higher" is a little less enthusiastic. The lyrics ring out "taking me higher," but the general tone of the track spirals down a deep tech-house rabbit hole giving the impression that "higher" has never been farther away.

Nevertheless, "Taking Me Higher" is a solid track; prepped and ready for late night dance floors where positivity sometimes needs to be heavy to be heard. If you're looking for a serious perspective, a musical intervention, this is just the track to fit those needs. Enjoy!
