Why do we like this?

Roughly five years ago, Brooklyn's Yeasayer brought us "I Remember." I don't remember falling in love with the song until a few years after its release when I heard it at a friend's house. I was always a year or two late to the best indie band parties.

Fast forward to 2015, and popular electronic producer Jon Hopkins has decided to cover "I Remember" for his upcoming LateNightTales release.

Per SoundCloud, Hopkins purposely gave the track a fragile vibe. His take ups the emotional ante for sure, which has this weird nostalgic impact, drawing me back to the original.
