Why do we like this?

Annie Mac premiered Youan's "When You're Around" this week with her Free Music Mondays series. A perfectly cut track to come out of the UK right now, Youan is definitely bringing something to the table. Spoiler: it's a banger.

A conglomeration of bass, R&B vocals, future garage, and house, this track is following the trends of now; Disclosure would be proud. Whatever the case, it's a well architected track with atmospheric notes and an irreverently persistent bass line.

With the publicity bump of Miss Mac, I'm sure that we will be seeing more from Youan in the quite near future. For now, turn up this jam and dance the night away.
