Jordan De Pas is a Brisbane-raised, (soon to be) Berlin-based producer definitely worth keeping your eye on. Operating under the stage name Zaped, he's released a number of singles over the past few years, as well as supporting the likes of Baths, The Kite String Tangle, and Glass Animals on their recent tours.
His new single "Paradise" is a huge step-up in quality for the Zaped project. Smooth, dreamy electronic layering is complemented by elements of modern R&B and some well-placed piano arrangements. This creates the perfect setting for Georgia Potter's stunning vocals to steal the show, with the R&B/soul talent showing why she's one of Australia's most underrated performers.
This track has been really eating at me all day, and I'm sure it'll have a similar effect on you guys, too. Expect more to come from both of these talents in the coming months.
