Why do we like this?

On today's list of tracks that you didn't know you really wanted to listen to but you're totally going to listen to on repeat: Bonobo's new single "Pelican."

What I find so fascinatingly cool about this track is that it sees Bonobo going in a completely different direction to that of prior work. The end result reminds me a lot of Lone's "AM Portal," a similarly staccato exploration of electronic sounds.

Bonobo's EPFlashlights is set for release December 1st via Ninja Tune.
