Why do we like this?
Cold Specks is back! Or so the internet very excitedly tells me. I hadn't actually heard of her before this track, but from my quick research, it seems like her last album came out in 2014 and there's another due later this year.
After listening to "Wild Card," I'm glad I have a backlog of tracks to work through, since this is the most pleasant jam. "Pleasant" reflecting more on my personal enjoyment of it, less so the content, because this is actually just kind of sad and mournful, but in the most beautiful, soulful ways. In this moment, I cannot think of another song to which I would rather shed a single therapeutic tear.
