Why do we like this?

Drake's "Hold On (We're Going Home)" definitely ranks among one of the last songs I'd have expected Arctic Monkeys to cover, but here we were listening to just that. And with product in hand, it seems this one actually works pretty decently.

The original Drake song errs on the more upbeat and consistent side, with minimal synth work and fairly standard percussion providing an easy template for a modern-day indie rock band to tackle.

On that note, I'm loving the recent series of covers that have been coming from BBC1, including this London Grammar cover of Chris Isaak's "Wicket Games."
