Why do we like this?

After wowing us with folk meets electro tear jerker "Sadness Is Taking Over" late last year, Swedish-based duo Flora Cash returned last week with "Nothing Lasts Forever (And It's Fine)."

A Lana Del Rey-styled pop tune, "Nothing Lasts Forever (And It's Fine)" is great, but the B-Side "The Bad Boys" is where the magic really lies. 

An acoustic guitar strums gently before Cole Randal's hushed vocals take centre stage. Repeatedly crooning the chorus, "You not baby with the bad boys," Randal is joined by Shpresa Lleshaj's understated yearning, with the two's harmonies filling out the space left by the minimalistic production.

Once again the two have created an engaging arrangement, and I for one am excited to see what comes next.
