Why do we like this?

Spanish producer John Talabot is one of the best electronic producers working today, but he is also one of the most adept DJs, too. 

One of the reasons Talabot is such a great DJ is the care he takes with his sets -- for instance, making special edits of tracks to use. He's recently stuck a bunch of them on SoundCloud, with the highlight being this re-edit of little-known Spanish band Ishinohana.

He subtly re-works their track "Lucía" focusing on the beautiful, forlorn guitar riff at the centre of the track and adding in percussion to make it suitable for a dance floor. Talabot has christened it his "sunset edit," and it's not hard to see why -- the track would sound truly amazing in a warm Spanish sunset.

We don't know when (or even if) this one will ever be released, but you can follow John Talabot on SoundCloud and Facebook to keep up-to-date.
