"So We Won't Forget" was recently released from Houston-based, Khruangbin, as a pairing to "Time (You and I)." The group isn't necessarily an indie secret anymore, amassing nearly 4 million monthly listeners on Spotify. I figure despite their well-deserved popularity, I should still share this track :)
If I had to call out one thing about this Texan trio, it'd have to be the insanely talented and creative ability to incorporate musical genres spanning the globe into a single song. Despite the modesty and repetition in the lyrics, the track allows listeners to take these words and apply them broadly. Example:
