The music from the genre-bending/blending band from Houston, Texas reminds me a lot of that scene from the movie, Ratatouille, when the rat takes a bite of one food, then another bite from a different piece of food, and then eats them both together, revealing a symphony of flavors.In a similar way, taking influences from music all over the world, ranging from classic soul to Thai-rock, Khruangbin has created a new flavor of music. This new release hooks you in quick and lays down the groove thick.
