Why do we like this?

The infectious melodies, the ridiculously slick tempo, and the KILLER horn section on Minotaurs' track "Gold Rush Lady" really left us wanting to hear more of their upcoming record Weird Waves.

Today we're going to give you another taste of the album, with the premiere of new single "Blind Luck" featuring Evening Hymns' Jonas Bonetta contributing on mellotron, drone, and vocals.

The song continues to show Minotaurs' knack for concocting rippling grooves and glistening harmonies from varying instruments that complement one another wonderfully. It doesn't have the big band grandeur of "Gold Rush Lady," but "Blind Luck" has its own subtle flair with snappy drum beats, a hopping staccato, and a riffing guitar delivering enough of a kick without breaking the laid-back tone.

Weird Waves is set for release on March 11.
