Why do we like this?

Eclectic virtuoso Adam Traub spearheads a multifaceted quintet with roots sprouted from the sunny streets of Southern California. Confiding in music as a way to cultivate his personal freedom, his internal world has now transformed into The Burning of Rome.

Several albums in, the group has not lost its fervor, which is clearly stated in their newly released single, "God of Small Things." Chock full of bushy-eyed rhythmic wonders, synth that bobs its head in and out of voiced melodies, and the sweet touches of twinkling guitar licks, it is difficult not to fall in love with this mysterious beast of a song.

Stay tuned for the release of their full album, Year of the Ox, which will be released on May 20, 2014. For now you can keep up with them on Facebook.
