Yaw

Jason re-posted a Kings of Convenience track sometime last week, so I'm using my allotted throwback with Yaw's "Where Would You Be." It makes my skin tingle. It's the way the sumptuous strings and horns sections mingle around Yaw's soulful vocals.Yaw's track comes off of Gilles Peterson's label's, Bronswood Recording's,Bronswood Bubblers Three (note how many times I used an apostrophe + 's' in that sentence). The compilation was released in 2008, which I'm more saying as a disclaimer, so that there isn't a repeat of someone telling me in the comments section that the song isn't, in fact, new.If you'd like a blast from the past, which is weird because 2008 being distant makes me old, check out the compilation here-- so far it's a vibe.
