I think I've found myself a new favorite track! Blake Cowan's moniker is Wickerbird and his song is called "The Westering," taken from his upcoming EP The Westering, set to release on March 26, 2013.

Considering the remaining structure of the song, Wickerbird teeters right on the edge of reality and a dream-like ethereal state. This indie folk movement has been strongly leading the pack when it comes to preferred genres these days, and "The Westering" is the perfect fit for anyone who has an affinity for said genre. It makes even more sense when I tell you that Wickerbird hails from Washingston state. There are even nature sounds in the background of this song. It makes me yearn for spring.
